Pros

I’ve been with Emtrain for almost five years as a Strategic Account Executive, and it’s been rewarding to grow with a company that truly stands behind its mission. The heart of Emtrain starts with our founder and CEO—one of the hardest-working, most resilient leaders I’ve worked with. Her vision and commitment to ethical, human-centered workplace training genuinely shape the culture. Emtrain has been around for 20 years, which says a lot in this market. The company continues to adapt and evolve while staying true to its purpose. I truly believe in the product—our training is modern, relatable, compliant, and easy to stand behind when working with clients. The team is supportive, responsive, and genuinely caring. Even as a fully remote company, there’s real connection, collaboration, and leadership that consistently prioritizes doing right by our clients.

Cons

Because we’re a small but mighty organization, not every process is fully built out. This requires flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to help shape how things are done. For the right person, it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Pros

High-impact role with real ownership of a large mid-market/enterprise portfolio—lots of autonomy, executive visibility, and the ability to drive meaningful outcomes for clients through renewals and expansions. Strong cross-functional collaboration and constant exposure to strategic, real-world problem solving.

Cons

Work can be highly reactive around renewals and escalations, with tight timelines and shifting priorities. Managing many stakeholders at once requires strong boundaries, and the pace can be intense during peak renewal cycles.

Pros

I have been working at Emtrain for years. We have been through cultural shifts like #metoo, BLM, and changing regulations like the recent presidential executive orders. Lucky for us, the founder and CEO is a visionary, predicting what is coming next and guiding the company and our clients during these challenging and pivotal times. Other compliance companies are not so lucky to have an employment attorney at the helm. In the seven years that I have remote worked for Emtrain, I have held 4 roles in 4 different departments, and each of those role changes were met with flexibility and autonomy. If you are looking for a role where you are treated like an adult, and are looking to contribute to the greater good, I recommend talking to someone at Emtrain.

Cons

The cons are the usual cons at every company. At the end of the day, the "company" is about individual people and communication. If you have issues with co-workers, it is about your mindset and ability to communicate with others. Emtrain creates content around these very topics. Any employee issues I have had at Emtrain, I have worked out with the team. When I have a complaint about something, I am heard. I have been here for a long time and have no plans of going anywhere anytime soon!
