      2 Mar 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Entelo (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

      1. Submit resume 2. Was contacted by the SDR Lead for a phone screen 3. Was asked to complete an assignment - Find 3 prospects for Entelo, include company, name, and LinkedIn profile. -Write an email to one of the prospects presenting what Entelo has to offer. 4. Was invited to do a panel Skype interview with 2 SDRs, 1 SDR Lead, and the Manager

      Interview questions [3]

      Question 1

3 parts to the interview. - The interview began with 2 of the SDR's and they focused their questions on me as a candidate and whether I would be a good culture fit -2nd part of the interview the SDR lead went over my assignment and gave me positive feedback as well as some constructive criticism on how to improve the email I had written (something that I thought was extremely beneficial), Then she went on to ask questions about the contacts that I provided, and how I went about finding the contacts. What resources did I use to acquire the information, and why I chose the companies that I did. -The final part of the interview was with Sean the Manager (extremely nice) and he mainly asked about the management style that I tend to excel in, what type of culture I work best in, and he also asked if I were to be offered the position if I had any reservations, and also how soon could I start if I were offered the position.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Entelo (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Phone screen followed by on-site, 5-round interview. One of the best interview experiences I have had - they even reached out personally to tell me I was not moving forward, which I really appreciated. By that point though, and through the interview, it was clear why I was not a good fit (not in a bad way, just a realization). That's the whole point of the interview after all - for both parties to judge whether they are a good fit for the other. If my path takes me to a position where I think I would do well with Entelo, I would love to apply again. Insightful managers at a company that seems to really value professional development.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      - Identify 3 people you think would be good prospects for selling Entelo to and pass along their names, titles, and Linkedin profiles. - For just one of those three people, craft an initial email that you'd send that person to get them interested in having a conversation with us (don't actually send the email, but we'd like to see what you come up with). - Record a follow-up voicemail to that same person in the event that they don't respond to the first email

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Entelo in Sept 2017

      Interview

Multiple stage - phone screen, take home written test, then video interviews with multiple employees. I feel like their interview process is a means of lead generation. I've read other interview reviews on here and comparing those to my experience tells me that the company looks to get information out of prospects. For example in my take-home test I was asked to provide a few LinkedIn connections that I would try and sell Entelo to. In my final interview over video, a member of their team met with me to ask me to go into more detail about why I provided these contacts and to give more background on who they were. Not only did it feel like they were using me to vet these contacts but they did not take any time to evaluate my test, which tells me they somewhat disregarded it. Employee reviews of Entelo seem gleaming and the people I interviewed with for the most part seemed solid - looking back I would just be wary of the fact that they may be using the interview process to build their own rolodex.
