After three interviews, I was told the role was filled with a different candidate, only to see it reposted two hours later on LinkedIn. Salary ranges were inconsistent (listed at $68k online, quoted $80k in interviews), and expectations around experience didn’t align with the profiles they ultimately consider. In my case, I brought strong relevant experience, but they appeared to prioritize less experienced candidates in their other locations.
Additionally, the final in person interview conversation lacked clarity and energy, making it difficult to get a real sense of the role or team dynamic. Overall, clearer communication, consistent salary ranges, and a more transparent process would greatly improve the candidate experience.
