I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Express (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview

We were all seated around a tiny table (there were about 15 of us) in the loud food court and the interviewer would ask a question and we would go around the table for every question. Took forever. It was very unorganized and because the food court was so loud, very difficult to hear everyone.

Applied online, interviewed in person the next day. Interview was basically a vibe check. More important to apply during peak season (early spring or early fall) when they're hiring the most. Make sure you have availability on the weekend.
Easy and straight forward interview. They ask for your availability and if have fashion experience. Also, asks about previous sales and customer service experience. The job itself is not hard at all.
