Interview
Initial application was easy, I remember I only submitted CV and cover letter. Then I was approached by their APAC recruiter. But the process took a long time for them to book a telephone interview which was just a standard competency based interview, but requires some knowledge about the company business and financial as well as IT industry. Then I was invited to the assessment centre which consisted of a skype interview with managers in Asia and tests. The assessment day was not very enjoyable and to be fair it was a bit dull and pretty much all the information they gave can be found online.

Why do you think that companies come to FDM group for consultants rather than other big name firms like IBM.

Interview
First stage would be a 15 mins phone interview which is easy if you know the job duty and the background of the position you applying.
Second stage would be an assessment day. You will have an written exam, including the basic maths, aptitude test and Venn diagrams. During the period of time of having exam, you will be invited to meet the account managers in the company. Depending on the arrangement, the number of account manager could be one or two. The most important thing is to be honest and relax. They just ask some simple questions based on your CV and reason of applying the position.

Phone interview:
1. Self introduction
2. Do you know the job duty of the position you applying?
3. What do you about FDM group?
4. Why you want to develop your career in IT industry?
5. Where did you heard about FDM group for the first time?
Written exam:
Math Test: basic secondary level maths
Aptitude test: basic knowledge about common application, including java, linux. Also some test on the spelling of English and gramma. The most difficult questions would be questioning about the expected result by the given codes.
Account Manager Interview:
1. Self introduction
2. Why you want to develop your career in IT industry?
3. What are your strength and weakness?
4. Tell me more about your CV
5. What did you do in your leisure time?

Interview
It takes a very long time to get a reply from someone (still hv no idea wt title he is).
Just after answering the expecting salary, he seems not happy and was asking why there is a huge increment from the previous job.
But the fact is I DID clearly stated my expected salary &
within the range as stated in the job ad.
The interviewer kept insulting me saying company could easily paying off $22k / month for
someone to work at bank. (Clearly $22k @ bank is insulting low)
And he emphasized the company wants to hire "passionate" and technical graduates.
I believe the word "passionate" in their world means being exploited happily, overworked and underpaid.
The company clearly has some problems.
