I applied online. I interviewed at Face Reality Skincare
Interview
They really shouldn’t bring in multiple candidates into their office and walk them around. Most companies will only just bring the final candidate so you’re not giving people false hope or making unemployed people waste gas.
I think overall the teams are inexperienced, esp at the director level and up and it shows during the process and with someone of the questions. Most people didn’t seem to have much real life work experience and there is zero diversity, which is odd because diversity in skin color is especially important in skincare. They were fine but it felt like an immature company.

Interview
Long, but you get to meet a lot of people all the way up to the CEO. Friendly people. Mission driven company. About 70 employees. They want to be known as The Acne Brand.

Question 1
Explain a time you improved a marketing process or strategy. What was your role and the outcome.
1st time: Phone Screen then video interview. Didn't get job because I was "too young". Few months later, the recruiter emails me to say the manager has changed and they want to talk to me again. I go into the office for an interview. Everyone was nice and said I would hear back in a few days. They even gave a tour and made comments such as "this is where you would sit". I did not hear back. I emailed and they did not reply. I felt disrespected. If someone spends their time and energy driving to your location for an interview, the least you can do is send a generic email saying 'no thank you" if it wasn't a good fit. It was a huge waste of time because they called me back for an interview just to ghost me.
