Answered reach-out from in-house recruiter who found me online; one phone interview with recruiter; then three remote (video) interviews with recruiter, hiring manager, and peer; then 6 interviews back-to-back onsite with hiring manager and other colleagues. All went smoothly and encouragingly until last meeting which was actual salary range discussion with 2 recruiters, then it became apparent that Fastly was looking for cheap and in trying to convince, lead recruiter's style became confrontational and off-putting. Neither recruiter responded with even a courtesy answer when I requested one regarding the why behind their abrupt "no" notification email a week later--after all the previous encouragement, not a great impression.
