I recently interviewed with Fixderma, where I was referred by one of the two interviewers present. Unfortunately, the experience was unpleasant. The main interviewer came off as extremely condescending, especially because I am a woman. He kept criticizing my current company, which has been around for 30 years, despite Fixderma being a much younger company that I have rarely heard anyone talk about. The entire interaction felt misogynistic, and though I wanted to walk out, I stayed. It’s disappointing to see such attitudes, especially in a company led by a female CEO. Additionally, the overall communication skills of the staff seemed quite lacking. I’d rather take a lower-paying job elsewhere than work in such an environment.
