Interview
They reached out to me after I submitted my portfolio. Thankfully, they didn't make me do a design test.
I met with the team over zoom and they asked me about my level design practices. After the interview they told me they'd get back to me. This was over two weeks ago and they never did.
Studios should be more forward with whether they've hired someone or not. You shouldn't ghost applicants. Just be upfront with them or people will call you out for your hiring practices in future interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flatter Than Earth in Jun 2017
Interview
Applied online, was given a design test and a week to complete, followed by two follow up interviews with a group of devs on the game. As a non-platformer level designer there was a lot of platformer-specific questions which seemed a little specific. I noticed some glaring red flags during my interview and declined.
