The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Flipkart
Interview
Got call from recruiter and had around 30 minutes if discussion on my background and experience.
Then had 5 rounds of interviews each around 30-40 minutes. Had first two rounds technical and the next 3 rounds managerial at director level.
The first interview was fine but the subsequent rounds were bad. In the 2nd round the interviewer was asking open ended questions and when I answered based on my assumption he was not okay with it. He had very basic knowledge of Python and sql so didn’t really ask any case studies but was asking very general questions.
The managerial rounds were more like, “we know we won’t hire you but we’ll waste your time” type. Their hiring process is not good, if a candidate is not suitable and there is negative feedback then don’t setup next round and tell him upfront. Why waste time? After all rounds they asked me for documents, I uploaded but no response from HR after that. Sick mentality of the HRs and interviewers!!
