I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fondion in May 2023
Interview
TL;DR:
The process took 6 weeks from application to the last call. Screening call, interview, and design task demo (with recording)+interview. Company seems to have good vibes. Finnish wasn't required in the job ad but the whole process was in Finnish. The company decided not to hire anyone.

The first interview was a basic 30min screening call with the recruiter. They recruiter was nice, professional and asked relevant questions.
The second interview was with the PM and Tech lead. They started the call by saying one of them has to leave in 30 min as they had another meeting. Otherwise, the interview was good and the vibe was great. IMO the interview could have even been longer to discuss the role and my skills in more detail, I felt like the call ended rather abruptly.
For the third interview, they sent a design task (JIRA ticket) related directly to a part of their product. They said to use max 5 hours. The interview was 30 min demo + 30 min company product presentation where they showed around and asked to solve UX problems or give improvement ideas. They recorded the whole demo. They gave me dates when they will be in contact again but in reality they contacted me a week after the dates they gave.
The company decided not to hire anyone. They said they need time to rethink the role and will restart the candidate search in the fall. They had emphasised in their job ad that they will give in-depth feedback, but after having to ask for the feedback, I was only told I was a good culture fit and they liked the demo but they weren't fully sure about my UX skills. What specifically was missing was not revealed.
