Had a first round interview. Basic background, experiences, qualifications, etc. I was contacted a week later and the employee expressed their satisfaction with my first interview and said they would love for me to do a second round interview. They asked for my availability, which I gave. I was then ghosted for two and a half weeks. I sent a follow-up email that received no response. After two and a half weeks, I was sent an email saying they would no longer be moving on with me as a candidate in the interview process without any explanation. I replied kindly asking for an explanation and received no response. Lesson learned: don't waste your time on companies who don't respect who they are interviewing.
