The store was hiring, so I went in and turned in an application. I made sure to turn in the application to a manager, shaking her hand and introducing myself. The manager, who appeared to be in her late 20s, was very nice. In the next week, I got called for a group interview. The interview was pretty easy. I was in there with a few other girls, most of who were Jersey Shore looking high school students. I answered the questions well and felt confident. In the next few days, I got called for a second interview. But when I showed up, the manager was not at the store, and I ended up being filed around for a little while before interviewing with a sales associate or something, who was younger than me and quite the jerk. She was snobby and acted as though her job was the creme de la creme of all retail. She ignored my art degree and retail experience and was very rude. After that, I did not get a call back. Disappointed, but overall, pretty glad I don't work with that girl and her 16 year old friends, you know?
