Great experience, come prepared with questions about the company and the role, transparent process and quick, very engaging but selective, overall a good reflection of the company, and promising outlook
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GSR (Singapore) in Oct 2025
Interview
Code assessment online, which was only an hour for two questions and the question was ill-formed and the schema did not line up with specification, leading to loads of wasted time.
Then a screen with the head of data, which was fine, but showcased that there is some interesting stuff going on inside the organisation technically and organisationally.
Got screened out for "match" and also others who scored better on the code assessment, which is silly, because as outlined above the assessment was very flawed.

Question 1
Take home: simple SQL join question, harder DP/search optimisation problem. Generic question in talk with head of data engineering
Interviewed by junior staff only for very senior position. Their business model doesn't appear to be competitive and there is little innovation. Can't see these guys surviving when the sector becomes insitutionalised. Was rejected for spurious reasons.
