Emails were written with the owners personal assistant. The interview was directly with the owner and there was only one instance of interview. It was a comfortable interview centred on the experience and knowledge of the gallery and german art scene

Expressed my interest in person. Sent my application to the owner directly. Invited for a personal interview and was asked about my personal ambitions so that the owner could delegate tasks of interest to me directly. Offer was made in writing.

I was asked about previous experiences and my personal ambitions as it is common to work as a gallery assistant as a stepping stone into curation, art writing and critique, art fair production, auction houses etc.
