      Workplace Consultant Interview

      8 Dec 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Irvine, CA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Gallup (Irvine, CA) in Nov 2015

      Interview

I applied on Gallup's website, submitted my resume and completed the online assessment, within 72 hours I was sent an email informing me I had been moved to the next phase in the interview process and they would like to schedule an interview. I set up the interview which was 45 minutes long, about 35 minutes of choosing specific responses, similar to the initial assessment online (also similar to the strengths finder assessment), the last 10 minutes was a bit more situational, tell me about a time etc. Two hours after the first interview I received a phone call scheduling me for a second interview two days later. The second interview was similar to the first, but every question was oriented toward explaining and expanding on the topic, how do you approach management? What are your views on leadership? etc. See the questions below. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Gallup

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gallup (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2016

      Interview

From the reviews, it seemed as though the interview would be scary and hard to prepare for. That was not the case. The interview wasn't easy, but it also wasn't too difficult. These are behavioral questions geared to understand your thinking process and your abilities. You can't get the answers wrong. You either fit with the company or you don't fit with company. I believe there process is right on.
