I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gaming Realms (London, England) in Oct 2023
Interview
First stage involved talking about my current role in depth. They asked a lot of questions that tested whether I genuinely knew what I was talking about. The first stage was great and the team seemed pretty cool. Stage two however I was interviewed by a project manager. The interview was pretty short and I was told it would be the final stage. Project manager was very stand-offish and seemed like he didn't want to be there. He wasn't rude in any way he just seemed like he wanted to get the interview over and done with. In contrast I had interviews in various other companies where at this stage they were trying to get you excited about the role and the company. Just imagine that this project manager was almost trying to do the opposite of that. Negative experience.
