Ridiculously dragged out. You can get through the final interview (after investing hours in preparation and research along with the KI primer), and they reject you without giving you any reason. Quite unorganized as well. Hiring manager that was supposed to be on the final panel interview skipped out and the replacement manager was extremely dry and disengaged. Quite honestly, were the job to be offered to me I would have had to think it over with a bit of doubt, solely because of the final interview hiring manager. The 6 steps it took to get through the final interview were not worth it at all, considering a couple factors:
- The amount of time off I had to take from work to make those interviews ima good and professional environment along with a quality display of my skills. Way too much time wasted.
- The base salary for this position was a true insult, considering the job itself. (Could have been overqualified)
- They say 4 days remote and one day in the office. Now, what happens were they to pull what other companies have pulled and required everyone to RTO?
- For it being the all mighty “Gartner” it was really unimpressive the quality of professionalism and the overkill of a process they make you go through.
- This one may be a bit unconventional, but the hiring manager took the meeting from his room at home, no background filter, and his natural room background was a total mess. I mean… imagine working for someone that has such carelessness towards impressing an interviewee. Maybe they feel superior enough to not feel the need to also be interviewed by the interviewee.
