The biggest red flag was the lack of discussion about the salary. Another red flag is not receiving a rejection letter. Continuing into the later rounds of the interview process, one of the interviews looked disinterested from the start. This person also offered lackluster and pessimistic feedback. The other interviewers, however, were very enthusiastic about research even though their work could become overwhelming at times, which is understandable.
