Phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by an onsite interview. Folks were nice but not all that responsive time-wise. I think there was a lot of internal issues going on which bled into the interview process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Generation Bio
Interview
The process started with an informational phone call with recruiter. After that I was asked to talk with hiring manager. The process was followed with multiple 30 mins conversations with colleagues. I was also asked to give 1 hr long seminar.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Generation Bio (Boston, MA)
Interview
Interview process was pretty standard...Recruiter, followed by hiring manager, interview panel, then hiring manager again. However, be warned that the recruiter I interacted with straight up lied to me about the company supposedly preparing an offer for me. Was verbally given an offer along with terms of the offer. After a couple weeks and 4 more emails confirming that they were preparing the written offer but taking longer than usual because people were on vacation, the recruiter then told me they had decided to hire someone else. Dodged a bullet here for sure. Would not care to work for dishonest people. Based on this experience, I would avoid having anything to do with this company.
