Short project on html and Javascript with a test at the end. Quick virtual interview with the hiring rep. Had a group interview in which we discussed simple questions not directly related to software development.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Genesis10 (New York, NY) in Nov 2022
Interview
The entire interview procedure took about four months, characterized by inadequate communication from the company. I successfully cleared the initial two stages of the interview, encompassing a verbal assessment and a course involving HTML/CSS/JS. Following this, my next step was to participate in a group interview, which was postponed by a month due to the company's stated lack of available slots. After patiently waiting for an entire month, I received the disappointing news that the company was exclusively considering candidates who were open to relocating (I was told this would not be an issue prior). This situation led to the squandering of four months' worth of preparation dedicated to these interviews.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a difficult situation and how you handled it?
We appreciate the feedback on your experience and the time you invested in the interview process. Dev10 had to make many challenging decisions to best align with the current market, including a shift to requiring relocation. We know many people were disappointed by this change, as it was not a fit to their career and personal goals. Your feedback has been shared with the leadership team. We wish you the best going forward.
5-Step interview process. Includes a technical interview with questions of moderate difficulty. If you're trying to do the training program, make sure you can commit the three months for training. I'd recommend this to people who don't have a coding background.
