I applied online. I interviewed at Giotech (London, England)
Interview
I aced the interview. I did some tasks very well. Thought I had it in the bag after answering questions left and right but upon being asked to join the team for a day, or realised I lacked the charisma
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Giotech (London, England) in Oct 2019
Interview
Easy. Almost too easy, no tough questions. But, everything was shady. Was told to come in for an interview for a position to be filled in a day or 2 later. Waited in the lobby for 45 minutes before the interviewer came down to get me. Actual interview was easy friendly and lasted about 5-7 minutes. Then i was given the opportunity to sit with another apprentice for 45 minutes, ask questions, chat, see what they're doing. Got welcomed by really cool staff, got introduced to them. After the 45 minutes was done, that's it, i was told they'd be in touch and i can leave. The apprentice referral company "Digital Skills Solutions", along with the company went silent ever since. Wont pick up my calls or reply to my emails. Very unprofessional, very shady.
informal first interview general questions about previous roles strengths and weaknesses. No tech questions as that would form second interview. Not much information about client at this stage just it is a general I.T role. Friendly but hard to gauge what they wanted for role as they discussed menial tasks that would need done for the role
