I applied online. I interviewed at Glassons (Brisbane) in Sept 2022
Interview
We had a Recruitment night with probably 40 other girls (varying ages) and played some different games in teams for example you would have 2 minutes to pick an outfit for an occasion and then you’d come back to the centre and present your outfit and explain why you chose it. The Recruitment night went for about 3 hours but for us it was almost 4 - though it was fun the odds are against you because there’s so many other people and you can barely hear one another so you really have to stand out from the beginning. Come to the store a few days beforehand, introduce yourself and make sure you are known so you are recognised from the night. Also big tip even though it’s a job interview, don’t dress business or business casual - go for something a bit more casual or street bonus points if it’s something that fits the Glassons aesthetic
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No questions really just games and if you were successful you would be invited for a trial
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassons (Melbourne) in May 2025
Interview
Very simple friendly and comfortable environment. Easy questions with some paper work you had to fill out with yourself and preferred stores. Had to list your own strengths and weaknesses along with how you work in a team and target difficult customer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassons (Chatswood) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview was fairly easy. It was a group interview, they asked us all about our sales experience and had us sell an item we had on us. They also tested how well we interacted with one another by having us form groups, and remember facts about our group member.
Prescreening phone call followed by a recruitment evening where interview was done in groups with people. We had to explain why we chose a certain outfit and pretend it was a customer.
