      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY)

      Interview

Had an internal referral after submitting application online and after a month I️ was invited to NYC for a super day (no hirevue screen or phone call interview). Had 4 separate interviews with relatively junior employees with basic questions. Had a great experience at the Super Day. Was invited two weeks later to do a video interview, which I had to reschedule due to surgery. I spoke with the recruiter who said all was fine, and as we tried to reschedule a date, she completely ghosted me. I consistently followed up, and when i did not hear back after a week i reaches out to an interviewer about the situation. Within minutes of sending that email, I got a call from the recruiter who stated that things had been hectic that week and that all the roles had been filled in NYC. I was very upset and startled by the news because one of those offers could have been to me if I had the opportunity to properly interview. This entire process has left a terrible taste in my mouth about the firm—due to the blatant disregard for potential employees who are extremely passionate about GS. Never again.

      Interview

Hirevue -> Superday, hirevue asks typical questions why PWM, give me a difficult project, what’s the hardest project you worked on, etc. Hirevue feels very impersonal make sure you look at the camera so they don’t think you are reading off a script, very basic questions though.
