After I sent in a short video of myself, talking about my experience and why I'm interested in the role, I digitally met with an external recruiter. I had a very professional and kind conversation with her. A few weeks after, I was called into their office to meet with some of the staff. P and D were both extremely pleasant, understanding and I could really tell they liked working at Graf-Martin. Shortly after, I was contacted to do an assignment to prove my skills. This went successfully, and I went to the next round, where I had a digital meeting with the CEO of the company. The CEO was professional, very kind and I felt like we had a great understanding of each other. At last, I had to come by their office one more time. Once again, I spoke with P and D. This time, they discussed some of the potential future opportunities. I left feeling very confident. Unfortunately, in a twisted turn of events, I landed another job that would be able to complement my work-life balance a little bit better. I ultimately had to decline Graf-Martin's offer. Looking back, I had an extremely positive experience. The team was very friendly and I could tell they truly respected my skills. I'd love to work with them in the future should an opportunity arise. I am glad I had the chance to meet with the CEO of Graf-Martin. She was knowledgeable and a great leader. While my experience with them may have been short, it definitely left me wanting more. Had I not found another job that was better suited for me, working with Graf-Martin would have been extremely wonderful.
