I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Sept 2019
Interview
Interview with Grant Thornton in Athens, P. Faliro, September 2019.
There was zero human contact from the human resources side.
There was absolutely no human connection.
I was given the feeling was that I was addressing to an object rather than a human being.
The most fake style I've ever seen among the approximately 30 interviews I've had with various types of companies.
Completely outdated interview model.
They made questions as if the person under interview looked like he is completely new to the job market while knowing that there is at least an 8 year experience.
It also struck me that this lady was asking me things as if she had read someone else's resume. She simply had not read the general picture of my C.V. correctly. It's like going to a furniture retailer for example and asking them if the refrigerator that I saw on the website is available.
Too pretentious that they really meant the questions they were making in the interview.
Awesome acting and demanding to give equally actionable answers.
There was also a 14 minutes delay for the interview to begin without apologizing.
Too bad, because this is the Grant Thornton’s showcase and it gives a very bad impression.
The lady who worked at the reception was very polite.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Arlington, VA) in Jul 2021
Interview
The interview process was casual, initial phone interview with the recruiter, then a virtual zoom interview with the manager. The interview was fine but the problem is Grant Thornton is a subcontract, so they weren't the ones to make the hiring decision.
