The interview process took place in three stages. Two one-on-one interviews with the executive director and the director of engagement, and then a third interview with the three of them. The third interview is a practical exercise where you plot out a research campaign based on some scenarios you're given. I completed all three rounds in three weeks and was given an offer immediately after the third interview.
In some ways this was its own red flag. The Executive Director rushed the interview process and made an offer quickly, only to then rescind the offer on vague and unstated grounds. The entire organization is young and inexperienced, the niche area they're working in isn't that promising, and it seems like they'll be struggling financially. In the interview, for instance, I was told the organization only had funding for another year, though even this could've been a lie. I'd steer clear and just hope this organization folds and donors focus on organizations and movements with more integrity and promise.
