I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (Denver, CO) in Sept 2022
Interview
The interview process was great, a couple of non technical interviews then a couple of technical interviews. The technical interviews were fairly easy and the nontechnicals were mostly behavioral questions rather than resume questions.

Question 1
Develop a function that determines how much taxes an individual would pay in the 2022 tax year.
The recruiting team was incredibly responsive and transparent throughout the process. Interviewers were on time, and I felt like they were there to help me with each problem if I ran into any hiccups. Overall, standard technical and behavioral rounds.

LC/Real-world problem + standard behavioral questions
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Resume screening (passed) CodeSignal OA 70-120 mins (passed, I forgot how long it was timed) Phone screen with recruiter (15 mins) Technical Interview (passed, called a TPA - Technical Phone Assessment, 60 mins) Super Interview Day (passed, but I didn't move forward due to a hiring freeze) One you get past the resume screening and CodeSignal, the process should take less than 1 month. The recruiters were all very efficient and nice, and it was the first and best interview experience I've had to date! Great people and seamless process. My only gripe is that they rescinded offers and had a hiring freeze, so I didn't move forward.
