      Waitress Interview

      5 Jun 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Toronto, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Guu Izakaya (Toronto, ON) in May 2015

      Interview

It was very friendly with open concept. The process involved one manager and 4-6 interviewees. We first had to fill out additional application form on spot which takes up time while the manager reviewed the applicants' resumes. The manager reviewed our resumes and asked us our skills, experience questions in circle. Although it is not mandatory to speak Japanese it is highly recommended. Even if you do not know the language, if you show willingness to learn I don't think the manager will penalize it against you.
