I was scheduled for a phone interview with a recruiter based on email communications, including several reminders. However, the scheduled time came and went without a call. Following this, my email inquiry for clarification or an apology went unanswered. This experience is disappointing, especially from a company that emphasizes its employee-centric values and commitment to hiring top talent. I question whether this recruiter embodies these values and whether this experience reflects the company's true standards. Effective communication is a two-way street. Just as it's expected of job seekers, recruiters should also demonstrate professionalism and respect through consistent communication.
