I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HP Inc. (Bengaluru) in Jun 2018
Interview
An initial telephonic screening round was scheduled. It did not happen and I got a call from the consultant HR that there would be direct face-to-face technical rounds - 2 rounds during the same day.
I reached the venue well in advance on the day of the f2f round. However, the interviewer turned up 2 hours late. Not even a simple apology. His attitude during the entire interview was that of a king answering to a beggar. He did not introduce himself, let alone explaining what work his team does. Not very knowledgeable as can be expected out of people with such demeanour. At the end of the interview, he said that it was an initial screening round and I would later be told the schedule of the next round.
Needless to say, I was happy that I was free to leave and never enter this company's premise again!
I applied online. I interviewed at HP Inc. (Bengaluru)
Interview
3 rounds of interview , one with a junior person followed by 1 with an expert in the domain and finally the hiring manager.
Hiring manager was behavioral and cultural fit.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HP Inc. (New York, NY) in Sept 2024
Interview
It was a very informal phone interview, asked basic questions but no real technical aspect. Friendly interviewer but not a data scientist. Overall it was an extremely simple interview process.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at HP Inc. (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2024
Interview
3 rounds, 1st HR, 2nd technical, 3rd, onsite: 5 hours with 6 people.
Overall, the process was okay, but very slow.
One of the interviewers did not have a clue about what he was asking, and clearly was not at the same level as other.
HR experience was just okay.
