Applied online, met the company at a career fair. Had an interview between a week later for the summer software internship role. However, was told my profile would be kept for if someone else rejects the position.

Interview
For the first interview, I was asked about my interests, extracurricular activities, and personality. The interviewer told me about the different products and projects an intern at HP could work on. This was basically an interview to get to know you and what kind of team you'd be most interested in working with. My second interview was with the manager of the team I was matched with, and they asked me about projects on my resume, technical skills from said projects, my interests, and they explained their project to me.
