A recruitment agency called me for this company and the process get started. They called for F2F interview. In the first round, they asked to develop an automation framework and automate a scenario that too in the span of 2 hours. Every now and then they used to ask if the task is completed. I developed the framework and showed it to them. They were very impressed with the framework and asked me to send it to them. Then in the second round they asked some programming questions and asked to explain the flow of the program.
It went well then the HR came and said they will update me later that they never did. Even if it was negative for them(which cannot be the case as they were very impressed with the framework), they should have informed. It was like they never wanted to hire someone, they just wanted to have the sample frameworks developed by all the candidates they call and never hire.
