Application
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HappiLabs (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2023
Interview
I had three interviews. Two were over the phone, and one was in person. The interviews all took place over the span of 4 weeks. After the third interview, they told me they would let me know by the end of the month (3-week wait time). They told me they were pausing hiring a couple weeks after my third interview. I inquired about a part-time position, and they asked for references, only to again be told that they were not focusing on hiring. Yet, a few weeks after telling me this, they hired a couple of new people and posted the position on their website again. I would've preferred being told that I was not selected rather than strung along for weeks.

Question 1
How do you feel about potentially working for a small business?
Had 3 interviews over a course of 6+weeks. The people in the company are exceptionally nice, but the CEO came off as very unprofessional. I was offered a job and the compensation was below expectation and based on the salary posted. I declined the offer.
I applied to the job, a few days later got an email to fill out their application form. I was emailed to schedule a phone interview pretty soon after.
The phone interview was a general 1st interview. I liked the ability to ask questions and the person I spoke with was very friendly. She told me I would hear back via email always for any steps moving forward.
I wasn't selected to move forward but I did get an email back.
