Interview
The interview process is quite lengthy. Initially I had a phone interview which lasted about 20 minutes just asking the usual background questions and why I want recruitment. I was invited for face to face interview in their London office with Luke. Started out as a very informal interview which was nice then we had to do role playing. I had never done recruitment before so I was quite new to this. They grill you on purpose and make it as difficult as possible to see how you fair under pressure. Afterwards I was invited to assessment day which was about 3 hours. There were 8 of us and we started out by introducing ourselves. Then we needed to do the mock phone call in front of everyone again and they don't make it easy. The second task was to write a job advent and lastly we needed to pick a CV from their pool and try and sell a candidate to a client. I thought it was a little unfair how for each task they started at the same end of the table so those being the first few (such as myself) had way less time to prepare than the others. I was then invited back the following week for an interview with the director. Was advised I would hear back either the next or day after if I was successful or not. It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything... I tried calling and emailing and nothing. Somewhat rubbed the wrong way as the director said I would be notified either way and they made it sound like the process would be a lot faster than it was but in reality you are looking at numerous interviews spread out over the course of a few weeks...

It was a good process. fairly straight forward to understand and the people were friendly and clear. asked general questions like why the firm, why recruitment, tell us about yourself etc.

Duas etapas: entrevista inicial com recrutadora da Consultoria Hays, em seguida entrevista com recrutadoras do cliente.
A consultoria não retornou com o feedback final, o que ocasionou frustração.
É importante que os feedbacks finais sejam passados aos candidatos.

Sobre a minha experiência com recrutamento e seleção.
Teams call. Then they invite you into the office, tell you about the company. Tell you how they value DEI and other initiatives they do then Q&A with a director, then 3 role plays. The process is not difficult but it isn't a real interview they hold them to test the market and see what the candidate market is like. They might also do them to keep their existing recruiters on their toes and maybe also to just collect data.
