The interview process was positive and the lesson observation was a great experience. Kind staff. The school building is old but it is a nice place to be. I had to do an online activity, an interview and a lesson observation.
I was not told beforehand how long the interview would take and so assumed it would be an hour (the average for this kind of job interview). Instead I was there for 4 hours (a lot of which was waiting around for people to be ready). I had to complete a written task, a formal interview panel with staff, and an interview panel with students. I was told by HR that I would receive feedback but they never gave any or responded to my emails asking for it.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hendon School (Hendon, England) in Jul 2013
Interview
Very well and the line manager used sign language and straightforward. Show me all the schoolwork to make sure I will cope because before I was a Learning Support Assistant.
