I was interviewed for a senior engineering manager role and I found it unprofessional that the panelists started interviewing even without introducing themselves. It was over a MS Teams virtual interview and the invite did not contain any panellist name - so I had to literally look at the participant list during the call and ask them if I am addressing them the right way. Forget about them switching on the video, but there was no basic courtesy of introduction. There was a second person who joined as a panelist and was little okay. While I personally admit that it was not my best, First impressions do define a lot about the culture. The interview scheduler had no idea which type of interview this is going to be, nor there was any communication even after 20 days as of what is the status. Overall a very unfortunate and negative experience

Phone interview with 2-3 persons on the phone. Hiring Director asked basic questions about experience, basically what qualities I would bring to the job.
