I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2010
Interview
The 1st phone interview was very basic and a way for the interviewer to gain additional information about me and my experiences. The 2nd phone interview was about my technical skills and qualifications. I spoke about relevant projects completed both in and out of school - again very basic. Questions were asked about my resume in which I went into full detail about.

I applied through university. I interviewed at IBM
Interview
First and second round phone calls followed by an in person interview day at NYC in their offices. This was a mix of technical and fit questions to various IBMers. Offer followed soon after this day.
Great! Simple and to the point. They asked about my experience and skills. The focus in my proposal development skills and my project management skills mostly. and I’m surprised that that is not 30 words. I thought it would be a lot more.

It was a good followup conversation with an IBM employee. We spoke about growing up in the east coast and the housing market in the west coast. They asked about my background and qualifications. Very standard, and very friendly and casual.
