      Declined offer
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM in May 2015

      Interview

Got a call from HR first, then quickly followed by another call from Hiring Manager. Typical interview process for about half an hour, with questions on past experience, current research focus, potential projects you might be interested in etc. Also includes classic strength/weakness questions which I find rather surprising for a research institute.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about your current research focus.
      Answer question
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IBM (Bengaluru)

      Interview

The advisors were nice and knowledgeable. But the recruiters seemed rude and unprofessional. They would schedule interviews without asking for availability, change the schedule as late as 10 minutes before the meeting but not inform me about such last-minute changes. The process wasn't as smooth as some other companies.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General questions about my skillset and projects. Nothing much to prepare, just be confident and go through your projects before interviewing.
