I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied online for a Food co worker position. A week later, I got an email for a phone interview. They called, two day earlier then the day I specified. About a week later I had an in person interview with the Bistro manager. Two weeks later I had an interview with the lead hiring managers. They called for an offer, and I had to follow up with drug and background testing. Overall, it was a very professional setting and the hiring process took about a month. Fairly easy.

I applied online. I interviewed at IKEA (Rockwall, TX) in May 2026
Interview
It was easy, but felt rushed. The call lasted 6 minutes, and I barely got to speak, I wasn’t questioned or even asked about my previous experience. It just seemed like they had already chosen another candidate and sped through the rest of the interviews.
Not a question; but recipient said that the position “includes a bit of everything.” Food preparation, inventory, stocking, ect are all part of the job.
Really pleasant experience, very chill questions and interview process. I got the call to do an interview while I was on holiday, so I asked if I could do it online which wasn’t a problem at all.

Interview
Fuimos a la zona de restauracion. La entrevista consistió en una serie de preguntas rápidas. Fue bastante relajado (creo que el entrevistador se dio cuenta de que era mi primera entrevista de trabajo).
