Highly unprofessional process – Role canceled after multiple technical rounds.
I interviewed for the Software Developer in Test II role and was put through a rigorous, multi-stage process. This included a time-consuming CodeSignal assessment, followed by a combined coding, automation, and hiring manager interview. I invested a significant amount of time preparing and executing these rounds.
Right after passing these hurdles, I received a generic email stating that "priorities have shifted" and the role was canceled. Putting candidates through hours of technical assessments when the organization doesn't even have guaranteed headcount or internal alignment is incredibly disrespectful of candidate time. It shows a severe lack of planning and a disorganized internal environment. Developers should be cautious about investing time interviewing here, as the company may pull the position out from under you at the very end.
