I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuition Publishing (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process in my meeting with HR was great, but honestly the culture sounded so archaic that I couldn't possibly work there. I believe the role required everyone to be in the office 4 days a week (even though the role was for eLearning..., i.e. online) so that kind of baffled me. Times have changed - if you cannot recognise that you're missing out on talented, highly experienced employees because your belief of being seen on the office floor equates to being productive, then you're not going to progress as a company.

Interview
I have attended many interviews over the course of the last few years but I have never felt as uncomfortable, undermined, and intimidated in my career during an interview process. From start to finish the interviewers grilled my every step, and I left feeling very deflated and doubting my own capabilities. They even went as far to ask to see my final year thesis to verify I was capable of producing work. I was told by the recruiter that the position was filled by a closer match, but some months later and they’re still advertising for the position. Honest feedback would of done.
