Interview
Similarly to both previous reviews, I was invited to complete a design task in November 2025. Unfortunately, I received no communication that the position had been filled, and the time spent on this work was rewarded with silence. Follow ups were ignored. This industry could use a more empathetic and respectful hiring process, where the laziest form of reply :automatic replies: could at least be implemented.

Interview
I want to add to the other review here. I had the same experience with my application for Multidisciplinary designer. 5 weeks after my application, they messaged me with an assignment, and I put a lot of effort into it. It's now been about 7 weeks since I submitted the assignment, and I've received no reply at all. I just found out via the other review that the position has been filled. I knew that the chance of getting the position was slim, but they could have at least communicated better and been more mindfull with our time and expectations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
To create a design based on a theme and submit it within about a week of time.
I had a very disappointing experience with Iris van Herpen during the recruitment process for the Multidisciplinary Designer position.
After submitting my application, I was contacted and invited to complete a case study within a very short timeframe (5 days). I accepted the challenge and delivered the project on time, feeling motivated and genuinely happy to have been selected for this stage.
After submitting the case study, however, I received no response at all for an entire month. During this time, I sent two polite follow-up emails, one week apart, but never received any reply. This was especially frustrating considering the amount of time, effort, and creative work I had invested in the case study.
After a month of silence, I finally received a brief email informing me that the position had already been filled. No feedback was provided, and I was never given the opportunity to present or discuss my project in an interview.
Overall, the process felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of candidates’ time and work. Being asked to produce a full case study and then being ignored for weeks gave me the strong impression that my work was not valued. Transparency, communication and basic feedback are essential in any fair recruitment process and unfortunately this experience lacked all three.

Question 1
There were no interview questions. I was asked to complete a case study project, after which the company stopped responding and never scheduled an interview or provided feedback.
