The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in May 2008
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward. I met with four different people in the department of which I was applying to and 3 of the four people were quite friendly. They asked very simple questions about my skills and experience and were all very nice. The fourth asked more difficult questions about my industry knowledge, but nothing too bad.
Asked abt markets. Hobbies. Rates. Asset allocation. Background, why I want the job, why JPMorgan, time when I faced difficult decision, typical behavioral questions not anything super crazy outlandish. Good luck
The interview process was excellent and highly professional. They focused entirely on relevant, market-specific questions that perfectly aligned with current industry standards. This allowed me to thoroughly discuss my background and demonstrate how my specific work experience directly relates to the role. Overall, it was a comprehensive and well-structured conversation that gave me a great opportunity to showcase my expertise and professional value.
3 rounds, HR and then call with a fellow senior analyst, and then superday. It was pretty relaxing and mainly behavioral. It was mainly to gauge if you were a good fit.
