The process took 2 days. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in Aug 2009
Interview
After applying online, I was contacted by a recruiter from JPMorgan Chase. She conducted a brief phone interview, then scheduled an interview for me in the branch I applied for.
When I went into the branch at my scheduled time, I was seated in the lobby area for a few minutes, and then called into the office where the interview was conducted. I was interviewed alone by the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager. They went back and forth asking questions, which gave them each time after my response to their question for them to write down answers. After the interview they thanked me and told me i would be contacted regarding their decision.
Approximately 2 days later, i was called by the recruiter (does not work in the branch) and was told that they had offered me the job, and the pay that i would be hired at. She emailed me the documents which included all of the materials i would need to fill out for employment, and information about pay rate. After accepting the job offer, i was FedEx'd additional paperwork, which included an I-9, and paperwork needed to complete a drug test (urinalysis), and fingerprinting. My fingerprinting was required to be actual ink and not a LiveScan electronic one, but i've heard from more recent new hires that they did LiveScan for their fingerprinting.

Question 1
Do you have experience working in a sales driven environment? What were your goals and did you help meet those goals?
As it was my first experience in life for a job, I started well before time so that I may not be late. I reached there well in time. There was a big hall there and about 35 candidates were waiting for their chance.
It was super easy, and they asked very straight forward questions, and made me feel super comfortable. They asked me a few questions, they mostly wanted to know how personable I am.
Easy to track system, was well informed of the process and what to expect from the recruiter and hiring team. Clear and concise overall. I wish all processes with companies were this simple.
