I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Oakland, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
Phone interview. Two in person interviews, one group interview, one presentation. I had an assignment to present to the group. It took maybe three hours to prepare. i can't remember the exact assignment but in the end it did not have any relevance to the job. It entailed using creativity and in the end the job was really creating templates and not using any design skills.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Jacobs
Interview
I was able to be interviewed up to the manager and then they asked me to do a spread for report that is interactive. I had to do it for a whole day and on a weekend. Then they asked me to send in the raw working file as well. After that I never heard from them. It was rude and a huge disrespect for my time and effort.
