It was good ans fast. They are very informative and honest about the position. Also very understanding and cool people. I wish the conditions were better, salary to low to the work they wanted.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jahn (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
I submitted my CV to one of the senior leaders of the office, Carl. Appointment was made to be interviewed by Francisco (2nd in command) did my research before the interview and knew that they had recently lost the competition for Mexico City’s new airport to Foster. Francisco “corrected” me saying that actually Jahn had won the competition and that was why they were hiring...???? Warning sign...
Then we went on to talk about a project I competed against Jahn for 10 years previously (my team lost to Jahn, stroking his obvious ego) and I asked a detailed question about how Jahn handled a certain part of the contract’s conditions (Construction Administration in China) to which Francisco declared there was NO such stipulation in the contract (he actually wasn’t involved in that tower I found out later on the office tour with Carl- why was he so firm in denying this tiny detail from something that occurred 10 years ago???)
Too many warnings and too many signs- the office was practically empty at 11am on a Tuesday and they didn’t even have a receptionist when I walked in
