I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jamiyah Singapore (Singapore) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview process took a long time due to the scheduling of the interviewing panel. Consisted of 2 interviews. Pretty standard questions such as your experience and how you can contribute. Lasted about 1.5 hours per interview.
The only issue I had was the length of time they took to tell me I did not get the offer. It took more than 1 month for me to know I did not get the position and it was thru MyCareersFuture when I saw the ad for the same position being reposted. Would be nice if they could inform me personally.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Jamiyah Singapore (Singapore) in Jan 2025
Interview
This organisation is horrible and does not honour its promises. Even though they claimed to be an Islamic social service agency, the practices and the integrity that they reflect indicate otherwise. They retracted their job offer to me even though the salary has been negotiated and agreed upon, and I’ve cleared my medical checkup and background check with MSF. I thought everything had gone well and I was just waiting for the start date of work. On a Friday just before the week that I’m supposed to start work, I contacted the HR to confirm my start date (since they had yet called me down to HQ to sign the letter of offer). However the HR told me that there’s some issues and they would update me again about my start date. I waited for one whole month for them to update me. I even approached MSF directly to check whether there’s an issue with my background check. Surprisingly they said my background has been cleared. The HR informed me that the HR director found me unsuitable for the job position. This decision contradicted the facts that I was given a draft letter of offer, and I’ve gone for my pre employment checkup. The worst part is that MSF claimed that the organisation couldn’t reach me about my job application. This is clearly a lie given by the organisation because I didn’t receive any call or text or email from them. This incident had caused my family and I to have a bad impression of the organisation. We are disappointed about the organisation’s practices.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was an informal chit chat with the head of one of the homes. No formal interview done by the HR or the HQ staff.
Simplistic questioning on history, not strong clinical knowledge from interviewers. Can easily be hired as long as your willing to be paid below market value.
They may not be able to share alot about the clinical process, just on what they do and appears that going "above and beyond" is common.
