Upon arrival the managers didn’t appear ready for me, apparently I was 2 hours early but their administrator emailed me the interview time, so there was clearly some miscommunication there. I offered to show the email to confirm I arrived at the correct time but they declined, I was made to feel like I was the one who had got the time wrong and as a result the interview felt slightly off and that they had already made their mind up not to hire me, I feel like I was then uncomfortable and as a result I feel like I didn’t put my best self forward when answering questions. Quite a disappointing experience as I travelled quite a long way.
I went through two interviews, one over the phone, one in person, both with the MD of the agency. Relatively smooth process, took roughly two weeks and a half from when I first applied for the role.
