I saw a posting online for a RA position at Wilmer Eye Institute and applied for it. The senior clinical research coordinator called me and asked me to come in for an interview. Finding the office was horrific though! The interview was very casual, basically asked about my previous research experiences, future goals, why I want this job. Then she gave me information about the study. I was hired on the spot.

Good, pretty straightforward interview questions. General and simple behavioral questions & questions about experience for entry level position. Was with two research team supervisors. No additional interview before job offer.

It was an informal zoom interview that lasted less than an hour. It was set up through an email contact and was an incredibly
pleasent experience. I was asked to provide some background about myself and my interests
Informal call with the PI over the phone; chatted about my previous work experiences and questions I had about the organizations that lasted for about 30 minutes; she talked about what current projects I would work on and gave me the contact of her previous RA to understand what day-to-day responsibilities would look like
